Jim Pfitzer, Naturalist Photo Guide
I would rather paddle a canoe than drive a car and prefer watching birds to watching television. I have a passion for wildness and love capturing wild things with my lens. I have worked all over the country as a naturalist, guide, storyteller, writer, and photographer. I have performed my original one-man play Aldo Leopold – A Standard of Change in theaters from South Carolina to Alaska, sparking conversations about conservation and the intersection of human progress and wildness. On my days off, I obsessively check the aurora borealis forecast.
