Whales & Wilderness Exploration

Create Your Own Private Juneau Whale Watching Tour

This private whale watching tour showcases Southeast Alaska spectacular islands, glaciers, and rugged mountain peaks. These stunning features cradle diverse natural habitats that are home to fascinating animals. This private exploratory journey through coastal fjords introduces you to this wilderness in an intimate setting with a certified naturalist and experienced captain.

Search for wildlife viewing opportunities, including humpback whales, killer whales, stellar sea lions, and Dahl’s Porpoise. Chances are you will see bald eagles and ravens soaring gracefully above the treetops, and sea ducks and harbor seals near the shoreline of famed Admiralty Island National Monument, also known as “the fortress of bears”.

When conditions allow, you may also be able to hear the underwater sounds of these whales through our hydrophone as you drift peacefully alongside. Bring your camera and be ready for some great shots of these gentle giants as you learn and experience the natural wonders in this rare and dynamic environment.

Conclude your journey with an interpretive ride back through the Mendenhall Valley and Downtown Juneau as you recap the adventure with newfound friends and lifelong memories. You will not want to miss this opportunity to share a truly Alaskan perspective of discovery and excitement in your own private safari vessel.
